Ovni-the-UFO

Oh man, how long has it been since I put anything here? Uhhhh... Too long, I think. I should probably fix that.

Right, so, first thing's first. I'm Ovni, also known as Petrock, also known as Quartz Poker or Thundersong, also known as Sarifel, also known as Felix. But first among all those many names is Ovni. It originally comes from a Romance language acronym meaning "unidentified flying object", hence Ovni-the-UFO.

I am a sci-fi nerd, a fantasy nerd, and a sucker for any sort of character that doesn't fit in, is alien in some way, or is just plain a bit goofy. Point me at a cute alien who doesn't understand things, and 1. I identify with it immediately and 2. I have to design a friend for it. I just have to. I'm big on fanart and creating original characters for various franchises, and I'd much rather make OCs than do something original most of the time.

Uh, what else... I'm a science enthusiast with a Bachelor's of Science in Geology, but unfortunately I wasn't able to pursue that as a career. Instead I have worked various odds and end jobs, and I don't really have much of a plan for what to do with my life yet. I kind of disappeared from multiple fandom spaces due to severe depression that started around 2009/2010 and kept getting worse and worse, and long story short, I had to make a drastic change and get away from my family to start recovering. I'm still in that process right now, but I think I'm getting better.

Things you can expect to see from me, once I start posting again: Animorphs fanart, Helluva Boss fanart, transformation artwork, landscape photos I've taken, 3D models I've made, some concept pieces for original ideas, and maaaaaaybe some Lilo and Stitch fanart. Maybe. I might even dust Ovni off again, who knows.
